Community Standards

MY PRO: TRUSTED PROS® ("the App") is a social & professional networking app developed and operated by MY PRO, INC. These Community Standards set forth the rules and expectations for using the App and our commitment to user safety, especially child safety.

In short

MY PRO: TRUSTED PROS® is for adults 18 and older. Promote only a pro you have personally hired, worked with, or know well. Do not pay or trade for a promotion, and stop messaging anyone who asks you to stop. Child sexual abuse material and anything that exploits a child is forbidden. If you see it, report it in the App and to the NCMEC CyberTipline.

1. Child Safety and Prohibited Content

MY PRO, INC. and MY PRO: TRUSTED PROS® explicitly prohibit Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We prohibit all content and conduct that constitutes or facilitates:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any depiction of child sexual abuse or exploitation
  • Sexualization, grooming, or exploitation of minors in any form
  • Content that endangers or exploits children
  • Any conduct that violates applicable child safety laws and regulations

There is zero tolerance for such content or behavior on MY PRO: TRUSTED PROS®. We comply with applicable child safety laws and work with law enforcement and designated authorities (including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline) when we become aware of such content or conduct.

2. Reporting Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

If you encounter content or behavior that you believe involves CSAM or child exploitation, please report it immediately:

  • In the App: use "Report Abuse" (Settings or profile menu) to submit a report to MY PRO, INC.
  • To authorities: report to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertipline.org.

We take all reports seriously, prioritize CSAM and child-safety reports, and will remove violating content and take action against accounts in line with our Terms of Service and applicable law.

3. Child Safety Resources

For information and resources related to child safety and missing children:

You can also access "Child Safety Resources" from within the App (Settings or Safety & Support) for direct links.

4. Age

You must be at least 18 years old to use MY PRO: TRUSTED PROS®. This is the same minimum age stated in section 2 of our Terms of Service. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Community Standards. We may suspend or terminate any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.

5. Promotions

A promotion on MY PRO: TRUSTED PROS® is a personal endorsement of a pro you stand behind. You may promote a pro only if you have personally hired them, worked with them, or know them well.

You must not:

  • Pay, trade, or request a promotion in exchange for money, gifts, discounts, or anything else
  • Promote yourself or your own business through another account

6. Messaging and privacy

Messages on MY PRO: TRUSTED PROS® are for people you mean to reach. You must not:

  • Send mass messages or unsolicited sales messages
  • Keep messaging anyone who asks you to stop
  • Share someone's private information, such as an address or phone number, without their permission

7. Other Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the above, users of MY PRO: TRUSTED PROS® must not:

  • Harass, threaten, or bully others
  • Share illegal, violent, or sexually explicit content (excluding CSAM, which is always prohibited)
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent identity
  • Use the App for fraud or spam
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Enforcement

MY PRO, INC. may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, and report to law enforcement or NCMEC as appropriate. By using MY PRO: TRUSTED PROS®, you agree to these Community Standards and our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

9. Appeals

If we remove your content or suspend your account and you believe we made a mistake, email hello@my-pro.io within 30 days of the removal. We will review it.

Removals for child sexual abuse material, child exploitation, or other child-safety violations are not appealable.
